Ian Rice is a Vice President in the Private Equity Principal Investments group at JPMorgan.Previously, he was an Associate at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, where he played a key role in the firm's investments in Vault.com, Sandow Media, Market Strategies International, London-based Loewy Group, Contexo Media, and TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications. Before that, he founded Spencer Capital Advisors, where he was engaged by a media conglomerate to execute special projects and assist in evaluating new investments.

Prior to attending business school, Mr. Rice worked at Gleacher Partners as part of a team that originated, executed, and monitored private equity and debt investments for the firm's mezzanine fund. As an investor, he participated at the Board level in several companies. Previously, he worked in J.P. Morgan’s Industrials and M&A groups in the New York and Sydney offices.

Mr. Rice holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, and an A.B. from Harvard College, where he concentrated in Government, with German and Economics as related fields.
