Dan Zamlong is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus based in New York. He joined the firm in 2002 and is part of its Industrial and Business Services team focusing primarily on investments in the industrials, aerospace and defense sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Zamlong was with the mergers and acquisitions group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and the technology mergers and acquisitions group at Credit Suisse. He is a director of Consolidated Precision Products, Duravant, Extant Aerospace and Wencor Group. He was previously involved with the firm’s investments in TransDigm Group, The Neiman Marcus Group, Aramark Corporation, among others. Mr. Zamlong is also currently board Chairman of New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE), a non-profit consulting organization assisting entrepreneurs from under-resourced communities, and a director of the New York Private Equity Network. Mr. Zamlong received a B.S. degree in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
