The New York Private Equity Network (NYPEN) and Ernst & Young LLP invite you to attend the 2008 NYPEN Accounting & Tax Education session "Leading Strategies for Private Equity Value Creation," to be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

The session will review the findings from a recent Ernst & Young study on the mechanisms that leading PE firms employ to maximize value.  The discussion will be led by Brad Kuntz, Commercial Due Diligence Leader for Ernst & Young and co-author of the study. 

Findings to be Reviewed:
The evening will focus on those strategies that the study identified as most successful in creating value in the top 100 private equity exits in 2006, including an analysis of the impact of the following value drivers:

•Acquisitions vs. cost reductions and organic revenue growth
•Careful and selective buying
•Driving delivery of business plans
•Management and incentives
•Exit positioning
