The New York Private Equity Network ("NYPEN") and Alvarez & Marsal invite you to panel discussion on "Exit Readiness – Value Creation Levers" on Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

As the economy recovers in 2011, private equity sponsors are once again looking at exit opportunities for their portfolio companies. How can private equity sponsors reassess the strengths and opportunities for these companies emerging from the economic recession and quickly activate levers that can drive exit-readiness and enhance exit value?  Specifically, our panel will explore:

- What are the short-term (within 12 months) activities sponsors and portfolio companies should be focused on that will drive sustainable and marketable value to a company before exit?
- How do you make sure you get credit from the market for these activities and the value generated?
- How far along do you need to be on these activities (as well as how much investment) for the market to see value?

The panel will bring together varied perspectives; panelists will include Riddhish Dubal from Alvarez & Marsal’s PE Operations Group, Amy Margolis, the Riverside Company’s exit expert, Sameer Singh from UBS’ M&A group, and Matt Harrison from Wellspring Capital Management.
