The New York Private Equity Network International Series is pleased to invite you to its first event of 2011, a private dinner with Investcorp’s lead private equity partner in the Arabian Gulf region, Ramzi AbdelJaber, who will be visiting New York from Bahrain.  (Biography below.)  Seating will be limited and availability will be confirmed within 24-48 hours following registration.

Biography: Ramzi T. AbdelJaber
Ramzi AbdelJaber joined Investcorp, a leading provider and manager of alternative investment products with $12.2 billion under management, in 2004. He is currently a Managing Director heading a significant part of Investcorp's Gulf Business.  Ramzi led the launch of Gulf Growth Capital, Investcorp’s business in the Arabian Gulf and the wider Middle East North Africa region, and serves on the investment committee of the Investcorp Gulf Growth Fund.

Prior to Investcorp, Ramzi founded and led The Middle East North Africa Financial Network, an online and wireless financial information provider serving both consumers and financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa.  Prior to that, Ramzi worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Palo Alto. Ramzi has also worked with Accenture in the Middle East and Booz Allen & Hamilton in the U.S.

Ramzi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems with Honors and Highest Distinction from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.
