NYPEN and A&M Dinner - Preventing Loss of Value in the First 100 Days - Oct 6th
Invitation Link:
On October 6th, the New York
Private Equity Network (NYPEN) and Alvarez
& Marsal’s Private Equity Services Group will be
hosting an intimate networking dinner for private equity professionals.
The evening will provide an opportunity for a small group of senior investors
to interact with colleagues at other private equity firms and will include a
dinner discussion on the topic of Preventing
Loss of Value in the First 100 Days. We hope that you are
able to join us, and encourage you to respond directly to Palmer O’Sullivan at [email protected].
Cocktails will begin at 7:00 PM and
seated dinner will begin at 7:30 PM. Over the course of dinner, each
roundtable will be led by a host from Alvarez & Marsal and a NYPEN Director
in an open and engaging conversation about lessons learned and pitfalls that
lead to loss of value starting Day 1 post-acquisition. Please come prepared to
share your experiences and to learn from others about theirs. Topics may
include:
- Lacking a clear and
developed 100 Day Plan before deal close
- Back to ‘business
as usual’ for the Integration Team following deal close
- Lack of
focus/prioritization on key initiatives and moving on to the next new
project
- Conservative pace
in making integration decisions while holding people accountable and
maintaining governance
Due to the intimate nature
of this event, we ask that you RSVP only if you are confident that you will be
able to attend, as space is limited
