Katie Stitch - W Capital Partners (NYPEN Co-President) |

Katie Stitch is a Managing Director with W Capital Partners, a private equity firm managing approximately $2 billion in capital commitments that specializes in providing liquidity to private equity shareholders and growth capital to institutionally-backed businesses. W Capital works with private equity firms, venture capital firms, financial institutions, mezzanine lenders, corporations and founding shareholders to monetize minority equity positions in private companies. Katie focuses on sourcing and evaluating new transaction opportunities as well as managing the firm's existing investments. Prior to joining W Capital in 2005, Katie was an Analyst at Banc of America Securities in the Natural Resources Group. Katie also has experience in sales and trading with JPMorganChase and public relations with Ogilvy and Mather.
Katie is a graduate of The Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a B.S. from The Wharton School and a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences. While at Penn, Katie served as the Co-Chair of the Wharton Dean's Undergraduate Advisory Board and was a member of the Women's Varsity Squash team.

Jill Wight - The Carlyle Group (NYPEN Co-President) |

Jill Wight is a Principal at the Carlyle Group, where she focuses on portfolio company management and operational improvement initiatives for the Carlyle Equity Opportunities Funds. She is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Wight was with Goldman Sachs where she led the Portfolio Operations Team for the Special Situations Group. She was previously in the Equity and Controlled Distressed Debt Group at GSC, where she was involved in the management of portfolio companies post-acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Wight was with Bain & Company, where she served clients in private equity and financial services. She began her career at Marakon Associates, a strategic consulting firm. She holds a BA in Economics from Yale University, and earned an MBA, with Distinction, from Wharton.

Mr. Awad is a Managing Director of Pier Six Capital, LLC, a middle market special situations investment firm based in New York. Prior to Pier Six Capital, Mr. Awad was a Managing Director at ZM Equity Partners, a special situations investment firm based in New York. Prior to ZM Equity Partners, Mr. Awad was a Partner of CM Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm based in New York. During his tenure at CMEP, Mr. Awad was a member Federal Services Acquisition Corporation, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company focused on acquisitions in the U.S. government services sector. Prior to CMEP, Mr. Awad was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Awad worked at Japonica Partners, a privately-held investment firm based in Providence, RI.
Mr. Awad received a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering and an A.B. in Business Economics from Brown University, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program (PMD).

Ms. Cherian is a Principal at First Atlantic Capital, where she works on leveraged buyouts in the consumer, business services and industrials sectors. She also serves on the Board of Sprint Industrial Holdings, LLC. Prior to joining First Atlantic Capital in 2010, Ms. Cherian spent two years at Permira Advisers in New York executing leveraged buyout transactions in North America. She started her career as an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse where she was involved in advising private equity firms on capital raising and acquisition transactions. Ms. Cherian holds a B.S. in Finance with highest distinction from Indiana University, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Dan Cohn-Sfetcu is a Managing Director at the Carlyle Group and a member of the Carlyle Private Client group. There he is responsible for coverage of middle market private equity firms, and executing credit investments throughout the capital structure. Prior to joining the group, he spent a number of years in middle-market credit and private equity investing with American Capital, Richardson Capital and Brookstone Partners. Dan began his career in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and SG Cowen in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University and is a CFA charterholder.

Whitney Hanson is a member of the New York Investment team at Bridgepoint Capital, an international private equity group focused on investing in market leading businesses. Whitney focuses on leveraged buyouts in the consumer, business services and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Bridgepoint in 2017, she spent four years at Investcorp International, where she was involved in middle market leverage buyouts. Prior to Investcorp, she worked at Deutsche Bank in the Financial Sponsors Group. Whitney graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in International Studies.

Greg Hersly is Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Madison Realty Capital, an investment fund specializing in commercial real estate high-yield bridge loans. Mr. Hersly joined the firm in 2007 and is responsible for oversight of Madison's cash management function, leverage positions for all assets in the firm's portfolios, tax structuring, accounting and overall financial reporting. Mr. Hersly oversees all data for each asset in the firm's debt and equity portfolios, and the compilation of deal level and firm level performance metrics. Prior to joining Madison, Mr. Hersly was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Alpine Commercial Capital, where he oversaw day-to-day operations and originated in excess of $500 million in commercial real estate loans. Mr. Hersly graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and business management.

Irene is a Principal and Head of Investor Relations at Lovell Minnick. Prior to Lovell Minnick, Irene was a Managing Director of Z Capital and responsible for investor development and investor relations for private equity and credit strategies. Prior to Z Capital, she was a Vice President of Investor Relations for KPS Capital Partners, L.P. Prior to KPS, she was with the placement agent arm of Jefferies & Co, Inc. where she was responsible for capital raising and fund marketing for private equity funds. Prior to Jefferies, she was a Senior Associate with Lexington Partners on the secondary investment team. While at Lexington, she evaluated, executed and monitored secondary transactions. Prior to Lexington she was a Financial Analyst in the Merchant Banking Group of Lehman Brothers, where she analyzed and monitored leverage buyout and growth capital investments.
Irene received a Masters in Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University. She also attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Susan Kasser, CFA is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman and Co-Head of the Private Credit business for Neuberger Berman Private Equity. She is a member of the Private Debt and Credit Opportunities Investment Committees. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, she was a founding member of Carlyle Mezzanine Partners, the corporate mezzanine business of The Carlyle Group. At Carlyle, Ms. Kasser originated, executed and realized privately negotiated junior debt and equity securities of middle market and large cap leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and growth financings across multiple industries. Ms. Kasser has been a member of the board of directors of several private companies. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Kasser worked at Goldman Sachs in several roles, including investment banker in the Leveraged Finance group, fund investor and direct co-investor in the Private Equity Group and as a financial analyst in Global Investment Research. Ms. Kasser received an M.A. in International Economics and Finance and a B.A. in Philosophy from Brandeis University, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Katherine ("Kate") Lehman is a Managing Partner and Founder of Hilltop Private Capital, a private equity firm with a focus on investing in and growing lower middle market industrial and business services companies. Kate also serves as an Independent Board Member of Navient (Nasdaq:NAVI), a Fortune 500 company that provides asset management and business processing services to education, health care and government clients at the federal, state, and local levels and of Stella-Jones (TSX: SJ), a leading North American manufacturer of pressure treated wood products.
Prior to Hilltop, Kate spent 15 years at Lincolnshire Management where she was a Managing Director and led one of Lincolnshire's transaction execution and portfolio company monitoring teams. Prior to Lincolnshire, her experience included private equity and investment banking. Kate is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton, B.S.) and of Columbia Business School (M.B.A.) and a certified NACD Board Leadership Fellow. She is a Board Member of The Robert Toigo Foundation.

Evan LePatner is a Principal at KPS Capital Partners. The KPS Funds are private equity limited partnerships with approximately $5.2 billion of assets under management focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies experiencing a period of transition or challenged by the need to effect immediate and significant change. Prior to joining KPS in 2007, Mr. LePatner was an Associate at Kohlberg & Company LLC, a middle-market private equity firm. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York where he focused on private equity transactions. Harsha received a SB in Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a JD/MBA from the Northwestern University School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management. While at Northwestern Law, Harsha served on the Editorial Board of the Northwestern University Journal of International Law and Business. He is a member of the bar in New York.

Sundip Murthy is a Partner at Norwest Equity Partners. He previously served as Partner and Head of the consumer sector for Snow Phipps. His twenty-plus year record in the private equity industry includes positions as Director at 3i Group plc and as a Senior Executive with The Carlyle Group. Sundip started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He has sat on a number of corporate Boards including most recently for Bix Produce, Decopac, Electric Guard Dog, Feradyne Outdoors, Phibro Animal Health, and Teasdale Latin Foods. Sundip remains active in philanthropic activities and has sat on the Board of Youth INC and the Advisory Board of the Fashion Institute of Technology graduate fashion management program. He received his AB with distinction from Cornell University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Nick Nash - Garena |

Nick Nash joined Garena in 2014 as its Group President after a decade with General Atlantic, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of GA's ASEAN business. At Garena, he is responsible for strategic and corporate development, capital raising, and several new growth initiatives.
He first joined GA in 2002 in New York and moved to Singapore to co-found GA's ASEAN office in 2011. During his time at GA, Nick played a key role on many innovative investments for GA including leading the firm's first investment in Southeast Asia (Garena), working on its most successful investment to-date in India (Genpact, NYSE: G), and co-leading its first investment in cloud computing (Quality Technology, NYSE: QTS).
Prior to GA, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in New York. During college and graduate school, he also worked with Lenovo, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and IBM. Nick is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, the Honorary Secretary and a board member of the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, a former board member of the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, a member of the World Economic Forum's Working Group on Local Capital Markets Integration, and a member of the global Kauffman Society for venture capital.
He received an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business in 2007, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and co-led the MBA exchange program with Tsinghua University in Beijing. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Chemistry and Physics, magna cum laude, in 2000. In 1996 he was named a United States Presidential Scholar, one of the nation's highest academic honors for graduating secondary school students.

Mr. Parish currently serves as the Director of US Origination for Elliott Management, a $30 billion multistrategy hedge fund.
He previously founded Travis Street Capital, a family investment firm focused on direct investments. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at LLCP, where he led the build-out of a special situations investing platform. For eight years, Mr. Parish was a senior investment professional at D. E. Shaw & Co., where he headed both the D. E. Shaw private special opportunities group based in New York as well as the New York office of D. E. Shaw's direct lending business. Prior to joining D. E. Shaw, Mr. Parish was an investment professional at Advantage Capital Partners, a fund focusing on companies located primarily in under-served markets.
He began his post-graduate career in mergers & acquisitions investment banking at Morgan Stanley and as a corporate lawyer at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP.
In addition to founding and operating his own companies, he has served on the boards of directors of multiple companies as a principal investor, including TriplePoint Capital, a leading venture lending firm based in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Parish attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received his B.B.A in finance in the Business Honors Program (with high honors), his M.B.A from the McCombs School of Business (with honors), and his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Texas Law Review.

Richard joined 3i in 2007 and is co-head of 3i's North America Private Equity team.
He focuses primarily on the Industrial sector and specialty manufacturing across end markets (e.g. fluid management, healthcare products, and specialty materials) and has been involved in 3i's investments in MoldMasters, Quintiles, Q Holding, Dynatect (formerly A&A Manufacturing) and Hilite. He currently sits on the Boards of Q Holding and Dynatect and previously sat on the Board of Quintiles.
Prior to joining 3i, Richard was a Principal at Halyard Capital, where he invested in companies in the Media, Business Services and Communications sectors. Prior to joining Halyard, Richard was an Associate at Entrade, where he invested in Technology and Internet infrastructure businesses. Richard began his career at Security Capital's Preferred Growth Private Equity fund.
Richard is actively involved in several non-profit organisations and is the Chairman of the New York Private Equity Network. Richard received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College.

Ian Rice is a Portfolio Manager in the Private Equity and Mezzanine Group at Hartford Investment Management, where he makes direct investments and also invests in private equity funds as a limited partner. Previously, he worked at JPMorgan, where he helped establish the Private Equity Principal Investments group in 2008 and later worked in the Special Credits and Special Investments groups. Prior to rejoining JPMorgan, he was an Associate at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, where he was a deal team member and board observer for the firm's investments in Vault.com, Sandow Media, Market Strategies International, London-based Loewy Group, Contexo Media, and TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications.
Before attending business school, Mr. Rice worked at Gleacher Mezzanine (now known as Arrowhead Mezzanine) as part of a team that originated, executed, and monitored private equity and debt investments. As an investor, he participated at the board level in several companies. Previously, he worked in J.P. Morgan's Industrials and M&A groups in the New York and Sydney offices.
Mr. Rice holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, and an A.B. from Harvard College, where he concentrated in Government, with German and Economics as related fields.

Mr. Schatzow is a Principal in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. Direct Lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Mr. Schatzow was a Principal in the Sponsor Finance Group at American Capital, Ltd., where he focused on origination, evaluation, execution and monitoring of investments. Previously, Mr. Schatzow was a Vice President at BNY Mellon-Alcentra Mezzanine Partners. In addition, Mr. Schatzow was an Analyst at Peter J. Solomon Company. Mr. Schatzow holds a B.A., with honors, from Washington University in International Studies.

Andres Small is an experienced finance professional with a focus on Latin America. Born and raised in Mexico City, Andres started his career in JPMorgan's investment banking M&A advisory group and has worked in private equity since 2005 at global funds like CVC International, MacAndrews & Forbes, and Partners Group. He has successfully invested over $2 billion and his current / prior board work includes companies like Dynacast, Intcomex, Avantel, Permolex, Landers, and Credivalores. Mr. Veillon currently serves Managing Director at Realcap Strategies, LLC a private investment firm charged with the oversight of operating companies and real asset investments of a multi-generational, single family office. Prior to joining the group, he spent a number of years in private equity, investing with Vulcan Capital and Brookstone Partners. He began his post-graduate career investment banking at Banc of America Securities in the Natural Resources Group. Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Veillon worked for multinational companies in the energy and natural resource sectors.
Mr. Veillon is a graduate of Queen's University at Kingston where he received his BSc.(with honors) in engineering and received his MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.

Dan Zamlong is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus based in New York. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Zamlong was with the mergers and acquisitions group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and the technology mergers and acquisitions group at Credit Suisse. He is a director of Consolidated Precision Products, Duravant, Extant Aerospace and Wencor Group. He was previously involved with the firm’s investments in TransDigm Group, The Neiman Marcus Group, Aramark Corporation, among others. Mr. Zamlong is also currently board Chairman of New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE), a non-profit consulting organization assisting entrepreneurs from under-resourced communities, and a director of the New York Private Equity Network. Mr. Zamlong received a B.S. degree in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
